Valleyfest 2017 is the City of Spokane Valley's premier community event. Valleyfest starts on Friday, September 22, with great deals and savings for shoppers throughout the Spokane Valley. The Lions Club Bed Races starts at 6:30 p.m. and the Hearts of Gold Parade at 7:30 p.m. along Sprague Ave.
Valleyfest is an annual tradition bringing the greater region together since 1990. The community-wide celebration is held each September at Mirabeau Point Park and CenterPlace Regional Event Center in the Spokane Valley. Live entertainment for the entire family, an opportunity to meet and have fun with friends, and recognize area youth for their talents.
The Valleyfest mission is to produce community driven, safe, family oriented, visually dramatic festivals. Valleyfest exposes the talent that enrich the Spokane Valley region and celebrates the visual and performing arts, education, science, and recreation so the entire community can experience them.
Valleyfest, a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization that began in 1990, produces a 3 day community festival in September. A volunteer driven work force strives to plan, produce, and advocate the finest cultural event in the City of Spokane Valley.
No volunteers means no Valleyfest; it’s just that simple! With the help of more than 200 committed citizens, Valleyfest is a grand civic celebration. Come for as long as you can and help us to celebrate the Spokane Valley community.
