Bed Races

Join the Liberty Lake Lions Club at the Annual Bed Races during Valleyfest on Friday evening, September 25th, beginning at 6:15 p.m.

This Lion Club fundraiser is to raise funds for local community endeavors, part of the proceeds will benefit Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit 501c3 that provides young children with beds who would otherwise not have one.

This FUNdraiser happens before the Valleyfest parade The entire street (Sprague Avenue) closes at 6:00 p.m., and the human-powered transportation street party starts with a large crowd to cheer on the bed racers. The entry fee for a team of 5 for only $150.00 and includes a 2020 Bed Race T-Shirt, beverage, and a goody bag for each participant.

So come join in on the fun! We have had Minions, Super Hero’s, Boxing Clubs, Angels, Witches in glow in the dark green pumps running down the raceway, and undertakers taking their 1800 casket down the lane. You never know what shenanigans will take place this year!

Prizes are given for the team with the Best Bed Design, Team Spirit, and the Overall Winner for the race! Proceeds from this event will benefit the local community.

Staging will begin at N. Gillis Rd. in the parking lot at 5:45 p.m. Rules and heats announced 10 minutes before the start of the race.
