11:00 a.m. Wild Alchemy Dance Collective

Wild Alchemy Dance Collective performs Fat Chance Style Belly Dance® in the Spokane and surrounding area. Dancers use subtle cues and movement pieces to create performances on the fly — no choreography needed! This makes every performance unique and exciting! Troupe members Courtney and Cindy teach beginner classes at Coil Studio in downtown Spokane.

11:30 a.m. Filipino Silangan Dancers


Showcasing of Filipino costumes from the varied regions of the Philippines. “Silangan” is the Tagalog term for “East” or “the direction of the rising sun.” Various Filipino folk dances will be presented, including the infamous “Tinikling” dance.

Since our founding in 2019, we have been determined to make an impact. The core of our efforts is to enable all kids to celebrate their culture and community, to bring different ideas and passion together. 

Indian youth Club of Spokane performs Bollywood dance which is a free flow Indian movie dance and Bharatanatyam dance. 

1:00 p.m. Spokane Taiko Drummers

Spokane Taiko, a dynamic drum and percussion ensemble performing traditional Japanese Taiko songs and originals! After their performance, they will invite children for a hands-on experience, showing them how to play the big drums!

2:00 p.m. Safar and Nefabit


Safar plays Middle Eastern fusion music. Belly dancing with Safar will be Nefabit a multi-award winning dancer. She has been entertaining audiences at private events for over 15 years.

3:00 p.m. Chinese Association

Spokane Chinese Association Dance Group will entertain you with a lively performance of traditional dances embracing the Chinese cultural heritage residing in the Spokane region.

Milonga provides a taste of the many musical styles and dance forms found across Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and the U.S. Founded in 2001, Milonga represents countless regional flavors of Latino music & culture. In a world of Salsa, Milonga is the whole enchilada! Valleyfest is proud to support National Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from September 15 to October 15, and gives our community a chance to learn more about Hispanic and Latino American cultures.  

6:00 p.m. Vietnamese Lion Dancers

La Hau La perform the very popular Vietnamese Lion Dance  The Lion Dance is a style of traditional Vietnamese performance. The dance mimics a lion’s movement with a hope to bring good luck and fortune. Lions are sacred animals that represent power. 

To become a Multicultural Vendor Booth 

Booth spaces are 10 ft. x 10 ft. – Set up is Sunday from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m. No food sales, One (1) eight-foot table will be provided, please bring your own awning and chairs. Organization/Cultural group booths are free. No sales allowed. Social Service and For-Profit booths are $35. Sales are allowed.

Valleyfest producers have dreamed for years of bringing a multicultural event to the festival. It is a great opportunity for the community to share diverse businesses, a performances, cultural information, or all three with the rest of the Spokane Valley community.
