Valleyfest Events
Kick off Valleyfest at the Hearts of Gold Parade, Friday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. on Sprague Avenue, featuring 30+ local restaurants along the route (road closes at 6 p.m. between University and Pines Roads).
Valleyfest spans from Mirabeau Point Park to the CenterPlace Regional Event Center. If you are looking for parking, we recommend taking the STA Shuttle from the Spokane Valley Mall (Saturday only). Parking at the Pinecroft Business Park to the northwest of the park, or the parking lot south of the CenterPlace Regional Event Center, is available on both days.
Food & Drink at Valleyfest
There’s something for every appetite at Valleyfest! By the Festival Stage in Mirabeau Park, cool off with Dippin’ Dots or grab a bag of Old Fashioned Kettle Corn, Sam’s Funnel Cakes, or fresh fruit from Mario’s Fruit Barn. Head to the Food Court for a bigger spread, with Azar’s, Egg Roll Express, Best Buzz, Lylo’s Oriental Café, Kim Enterprises, The Churro Hut, Smokeridge BBQ, MacDaddys, and Sabor Latino all serving up something different. Up at the family stage, you will find Popperazzi Kettle Corn. Over at West Lawn CenterPlace, you’ll find Smokeridge BBQ, Iced Out Coffee, Sweet Snack Attack, and Taste of India. And keep an eye out around the park for a few more favorites: Blue Truck Treats (Q259), Bizzy Bee’s Bakery (I152), and Shae’s Sweets (O229). The Tamarack Ridge Trio is the acoustic, unplugged side project of the award-winning Tamarack Ridge Band, playing country and classic rock hits across the Inland Northwest.
Covering most genres of music, ranging from Folk to Funk. Utilizing a multitude of strumming, picking, and fingerstyle techniques on the guitar. Sometimes incorporating percussion, bass line, or even the melody into my playing. Explore unique arrangements of cover songs, blending multiple songs together on occasion, all while holding mostly true to the genre and style of the music.

Inland Northwest Dance Association is a non-profit organization that celebrates the diversity of dance in the Inland Northwest. Our performance will feature youth & adults from WA & ID performing a wide variety of dance styles! The University High School Theatre Department is composed of 9th through 12th grade students who live in the Central Valley School District. U-drama is an after-school program that performs three mainstage shows each year. A Community Middle School musical, a summer camp musical for 2nd – 9th graders, and, new for summer 2027, our first-ever community production! Kyle Richard is a singer, songwriter, musician, and producer originally from Colfax, Washington. He uses multiple instruments including acoustic and electric guitar, keyboard, and vocals. Through the use of a loop pedal he records himself live and plays it back on a loop adding many layers to create a sound you might normally hear from a full band. Everything he does is completely live, meaning there are no backing tracks, and nothing is prerecorded, so you can always expect a different, yet exciting show.
A group of dancers ages 3+ performing ancient-style hula to modern jazzy hula, as well as Māori and Tahitian-style dancing.
Project Hip Slingers is a Spokane-based belly dance troupe performing vibrant, high-energy group improvisation inspired by the Fat Chance Belly Dance® (FCBD®) style. Using a shared language of cues, the dancers create choreography together in the moment, making every performance unique. With layered rhythms, colorful costuming, and playful interaction, Project Hip Slingers brings movement, connection, and joy to the stage.

Shawn Stratte is a prominent singer-songwriter, pianist, and digital creator based in Spokane, Washington. Active as a professional working musician since 2014, he is well known across the Pacific Northwest for his soulful vocals and dynamic skills on the keyboard. He performs frequently at regional venues and hotspots like Zola and the Ridler Piano Bar.

Spokane Desi Indian Women’s Club was envisioned by the visionary community leader Sowmya Surapaneni, and brought to life by a group of liberated women. The Spokane Desi Indian Women’s Club is organically evolving into a vibrant women’s hub grounded in the simple, powerful spirit of sisterhood.
You are invited to join the North West Hula for a short hula demonstration. During this session, you will learn basic hula movements and discover how they are used to tell a story. Following the demonstration, we will combine these movements to learn and dance to a fun song.

The Rusty Jackson band brings a mix of classic country like Johnny Cash, as well as prime country like George Strait, and then some iconic pop and rock hit songs from the 20th century as well as a few of Rusty Jackson’s original songs. And there’s always a touch of spontaneity and humor in all of Rusty’s shows.
Nate Ostrander is an Eastern Washington-based professional musician, audio engineer, and horse trainer. Known across the Pacific Northwest for his distinct blend of blues, blue-eyed soul, and psych-folk, he splits his time between training horses and performing live sets as a solo acoustic artist and with his band, Karma's Circle.

Performing since 1994 at a variety of venues, the Hillyard Belles are a senior volunteer variety show with a band, dancers, and skit performers. They dance in chorus line, western line dance, clog dance, and also perform skits. Accompanied by their Show Band, a talented group of musicians who play familiar music for our audiences, they belong to Vets 4 Guitars.

The Indian Youth Club of Spokane’s mission is to empower the next generation to embrace their culture, accept and include other cultures, and to bring diverse ideas and passion to various activities. The Indian Youth Club of Spokane teaches free Bollywood lessons to everyone in the community.
Spokane Desi Indian Women’s Club was envisioned and brought to life by a group of liberated women. The Spokane Desi Indian Women’s Club is organically evolving into a vibrant women’s hub grounded in the simple, powerful spirit of sisterhood. One of their dances is called “Kolattam” which is performed primarily by women in groups. Dancers hold two short wooden sticks, moving in a circle or a line to strike them together to create a beat.
Ballet Folklórico of Spokane is a volunteer-led group comprised of dancers ages 12 and up. We operate under the guidance and support of Nuestras Raices, an affiliation of the Hispanic Business Association. The objective of this program is to create an environment in which the Hispanic Latino community can explore and celebrate its culture and heritage while promoting cultural inclusion and diversity in wider society.
